Welcome to my website.
Let me tell you a little bit about my practice. I
specialize in working with people whose identities
and issues lie all along the gender spectrum. Your
issues may relate directly to gender, or they may
be similar to those faced by anyone else. Either
way, it is important that you know that the
counselor/therapist you work with is comfortable
with, accepting of, and knowledgeable about gender
variant identities and lifestyles.
We can discuss and explore your needs regarding
both your general issues and those related to
gender, how they impact your life and the lives
of your significant others, and how best to deal
with these issues. I am happy to offer assistance
to you, and should you request it, to loved ones.
This assistance is available whether you are
interested in psychotherapy, counseling,
consultation, or if you identify as
transsexual, and choose to transition
facilitation through that process, including
assistance in coming out to family members. I am available
as an ally to accompany you on the journey that you
determine will lead to the greatest sense of
wholeness and congruence for you.
I have many years of experience offering Corporate Diversity Training in large and small American and international companies and law firms, helping to develop and implement policies and procedures that facilitate transition in the workplace for transgender individuals. In addition, I educate medical, psychological, and legal professionals on transgender issues at universities, conferences, and at professional associations offering continuing education experiences.
I am currently living on Orcas Island, in Washington State and working with clients by telephone or Skype.
